What to expect when you attend

You may be seen by one or a number of therapists on the team.

Your rehabilitation needs will be assessed by the relevant team. This will include discussing your rehabilitation goals. An individualised plan will be agreed with you incorporating your goals.  The schedule of appointments and duration of your therapy programme will be discussed at this time.

How long will your sessions last?

On average, sessions last for 60 minutes.

Will all your therapies be on the same day?

We always endeavour to schedule appointments that minimise unnecessary travel for our patients.  For this reason, patients often attend multiple therapies on the same day.  For others, it may be preferable to have therapies on alternate days to minimise the impact of fatigue.

What do you need to bring?

If possible bring any existing or old therapy programmes with you.

If you wear an orthotic device or splints, please bring these with you.

If you are attending for physiotherapy please wear loose, comfortable clothes.
