CARF ‘Standards’ are the written measures of performance used to assess how well the hospital is serving its patients and to see how it can improve. CARF reviews the standards each year and new ones are developed to keep pace with changing conditions and patient needs.

Accreditation is the ‘recognition of quality’ awarded to an organisation when these assessments are found to have met established standards.

The National Rehabilitation Hospital is proud to have been awarded the maximum Three-Year Accreditation, which will extend to June 2026, when the hospital will be surveyed again by CARF.
